Kyriad Hotel Solapur by Othpl

My parents had a very good stay here earlier, and I recently spent two days at Kyriad Hotel Solapur myself. It’s comfortable and the hospitality is great. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the rava idlis, which were so soft and delicious. Highly recommended.

It’s on the main road, so getting around is easy. The hotel is pure veg and serves a lovely breakfast spread. The rooms are clean, tidy, and spacious, though the A/c in the room needs servicing. One of the few good hotels in Solapur.

The communication and what happened on arrival didn’t line up. I’d booked about a month ahead and was told a half-day early check-in would be accommodated despite the standard 2 PM check-in, but there was no room when we arrived. One was eventually arranged after repeated requests, though the mix-up caused unnecessary inconvenience. Breakfast was uncomfortable too, when we were asked abruptly and loudly for our room number. Guest checks should be more discreet. A bucket and mug were also missing from the room at check-in. I hope they address the gap between what’s communicated and what’s actually provided.

After staying here for the past three years, I found the hotel disappointing this year. Prices have gone up significantly without any extra complimentary facilities or services. I might manage a short 1-2 day visit, but wouldn’t recommend it for a corporate stay longer than three days. They often give you a room without windows, which feels extremely stuffy and uncomfortable. Even as a regular guest, I was treated unprofessionally, and the service was far from satisfactory.
