Paradise Camping Resort

The hosts were lovely, and even though we arrived late, the cook still served us generous, filling chicken and mutton dishes. The camp sits right beside the river, so you can step down just a little to feel its cold water. Mountains rise across from the camp, with golden grass on the slopes that looked ideal for a trek.

Mr. shafi even sorted out our fishing permit, and the staff were helpful and hospitable. The food was EXCELLENT. Paradise Camping Resort is a decent, clean place for a couple of days in Soanamrg, with spacious, nicely furnished rooms, hot water and a clean washroom. I’d definitely stay at Paradise Camping Resort again if I visit Sonamarg.

The tents stayed cozy even with the cold weather, and they were comfortable. Food was decent too. What makes this place special is the setting, a flowing river below the mountains. There are benches placed around where you can sit and take it all in, or get some mind-blowing pictures.

The grounds were good, the location was great, and the hospitality was pleasant. We’d checked the reviews before our vacation and they convinced us to try it. We passed other campgrounds during our stay, but Paradise Camps was really nice. We’ll come back.
