We stayed here twice during our February 2026 visit to Kashmir, and we were very happy with both stays. The rooms were clean, the cooking and food were good, and the staff looked after us really well. Junaid was especially welcoming. The hotel is close to Dal Lake and about 15-20 minutes from the city centre. I’d highly recommend it for a Srinagar stay.

The staff welcomed me warmly when I arrived at Assad Resort in Srinagar, and the service stayed excellent throughout. The resort has beautiful mountain views and lush greenery, while the spacious rooms have luxurious furnishings and everything needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated how attentive the staff were. The restaurant food was delicious, and they gave me personalized suggestions for local activities and excursions. The spa facilities were outstanding too, and the treatments left me feeling refreshed after a long day exploring the city. With its lovely surroundings, comfortable accommodations, and thoughtful service, Assad Resort made for an unforgettable visit. I’d highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Srinagar.

There aren’t any nearby restaurants, but that wasn’t an issue for me. The hotel is a quiet place, and Dal Lake isn’t far away. My room was neat and clean, and meals were served on time. Staff were very helpful, and the hospitality and service were great from start to finish. A nice hotel to stay in.

I stayed three nights, from 26-28 May 2914. The location was peaceful, the staff behaved well, and the rooms were clean and reasonably good. Food arrangements were good quality, so I’d recommend it for a family stay. WiFi and a geyser were available. The TV didn’t work, but I didn’t mind since we were there to travel and mobile service was available.
