The food was so good, it felt home cooked, and the staff were welcoming, polite, and supportive. We stayed two days and had a really pleasant experience. We loved the hotel all around. At night, you can walk to nearby zero bridge over the jehlem river and enjoy the evening, or have coffee on the bridge after dinner.

The rooms are decent for the price, but the staff weren't helpful when we ordered food from Zomato. The reception didn't pick the order up, and they had locked all the doors, so we lost almost 2000 rupees that we'd already paid. There was another incident too. Someone at reception with a slick back hairstyle called us and used abusive words, telling us not to make noise, even though we were only playing a song on our phone.

On my first trip to Kashmir, I stayed at hotel grand Habib. The staff were very cooperative and helpful, especially Mr aijaz. Everything there was great, and I’d recommend hotel grand Habib to everyone.
