The people looking after you are lovely, and the view across the water to the mountains feels almost magical. Queens Lake House was such a calm, quiet place to stay. I’d love to return someday.

That Nageen Lake setting was the highlight for me: peaceful, beautiful, and just right for a relaxing break. I spent four nights here, and the price felt reasonable. The owner was very welcoming, and the food was tasty, especially the non-vegetarian dishes, though there wasn’t much choice overall. Breakfast on our last morning didn’t stretch far enough for everyone in our group. Apart from that, we enjoyed the stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet lakeside getaway.

When the airports were closed, the owner came up with another way for me to get to Delhi and arranged a taxi as far as Jammu. His advice helped me reach my destination on time. The property itself is really nice, with a peaceful lake view from the deck and mountains all around. I liked it much more than staying on a houseboat.

We came with family for three days in April 25. It’s a quiet spot on Nigeen lake, with good restaurants close by on mosque road. The room decoration was brilliant, like a five star hotel or a top class boat house. Owner amir and especially uncle made us feel looked after like we were at home.
