Art Bliss Hostel

The AC wasn’t working properly, and when I raised it, staff brushed off the concern and kept saying it was normal despite the obvious problem. Water supply was also disrupted, with unclear and unhelpful updates from management and no practical solution. I didn’t feel equally valued as an Indian guest or supported as a solo female traveler. There seemed to be a preference for foreign guests, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. In the common areas, Indian guests were often asked not to talk late at night because of noise, but that standard didn’t seem to apply consistently to everyone. Hospitality should mean respect, transparency, and comfort for all guests, regardless of nationality. This experience at Art Bliss Hostel fell short, and I wouldn’t stay here again.

The rooms were clean and fresh, and I felt safe, comfortable, and looked after. The amenities were great, and the staff paid attention to guests. This place sets a high bar for hostel service.

We planned to stay for three days, but left early the next morning because of the owners’ and staff’s irresponsible behavior, discrimination, repeated lies and false promises, and arrogant way of speaking. They took guests for granted and never properly resolved the problems on the premises. There were issues with the room, AC, toilets, water, and electricity, so what exactly were we being charged for when these basics weren’t available? Even after we complained and asked for solutions, we were treated rudely. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you don’t want your vacation ruined. If you can’t provide proper accommodation, you should shut it down.

When I wasn’t feeling well, the staff treated me like family and even went with me to the hospital and looked after me. Art Bliss Rishikesh really felt like a HOME away from home. The care and service were incredible. I highly recommend it if you want a hostel that feels like family.⭐️❤️
