KRC Annexe Tezpur

The location is convenient, with the market nearby, and the bathroom had hot water and toiletries. Rooms are large and spacious. The reception manager and staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast had a decent, tasty selection, and the hotel restaurant offers North Indian, East Indian, and Chinese food.

After a long journey, our family of 10 didn't get the service we'd been promised at KRC palace in Tezpur, Assam. We had booked four executive rooms, but the rooms didn't match the pictures the hotel had posted, and the senior citizens in our group were left uncomfortable and struggling with mobility. There was a water shortage in the bathrooms, then dirty water began coming out of the shower. It seemed the storage tanks weren't being cleaned regularly, and the smell spread through the place. Our older family members had to wait for the problem to be sorted out. They hadn't provided basic items like buckets, mugs, or a stool, despite knowing in advance that senior citizens were staying. We were there on 1st November.

We had a spacious room, good food, and really warm hospitality on our way to Dirang. The breakfast spread was adequate too. I'll come back again.

09:12:2025 We're back at Hotel KRC Palace, and I need to update my earlier review. I'm happy to return, and this time there were no untoward incidents. Our first stay had been fairly decent, but the second, two months later, was a nightmare. The bathroom had no running water, the flush didn't work, and when it finally did, thick brown water came out. The phone wasn't working either, so we couldn't contact housekeeping or reception. In the room used by other family members, water dripped from the AC and a cockroach was crawling around. Restaurant food took forever to arrive. Some of the older staff tried to help, but the long wait for simple food was discouraging. We'd planned to make this our regular hotel in Tezpur, but I was going to look elsewhere.
