OYO 37870 Dayal Residency

The place has a nice atmosphere and the food is presented fairly well. But the amount you get for the price feels hard to justify if you're a student living on pocket money. Other places offer the same, or even better, for less, so the prices could come down a little.

I wouldn't recommend staying here, especially with family. The room was filthy, the bathroom was disgusting, and mosquitoes were everywhere. The sheets and blankets smelled, and there were cockroaches and bedbugs. The AC and TV didn't work, and there was no intercom. Room service was very poor too. I can't understand why MMT and OYo list it, and the 3.5 rating feels like an online sham. A complete waste of money.

The towels looked unwashed and were stained, and the sheets were dirty too. The bathroom door lock didn't work. Room amenities weren't great, and the AC was out of order.

We stayed here on the way to Tawang and had a really unpleasant experience. The outside looked like a shady dormitory, and on 1 Jun'19 there was no sign of OYO. We were told OYO had only recently taken over and the place was under maintenance. Parking was just wherever there was space in front of someone else's house. If someone scratches your vehicle, you'd be the one paying for it. We checked in around 8 PM, about eight hours late, and the generator connection for our second room wasn't working. It got fixed after two hours, thankfully. Later, when the power went out again, the owner didn't want to turn the generator on for our room's AC, even though the whole dining restaurant was being cooled for people. In the early hours we argued because the heat was unbearable and even the fan wasn't working. We were told not to expect AC rooms after paying a tiny amount through offers. OYO, please pay attention to this.
