On our bicycle trip across Southern India, this place worked perfectly. It was affordable, friendly, and close to everything, and the fan room was comfortable. I also liked the hotel’s style, which made it feel like an old movie. We ate at Hotel Chola a few minutes away, and the food was very good.

It has a nostalgic 60s and 70s feel, and even my old parents and next-gen kids loved it. The property is well maintained, close to the Railway station, and within walking distance of basic amenities. The rates are very minimal compared with other new hotels. I loved staying here and will make sure to come back to the same place next time. It’s one of the finest places to stay in Tanjore.

We only stayed one night, but had a great time. The room was comfortable and the whole stay was awesome, especially for the affordable price. It’s very close to the railway station, which is super convenient. There’s a canteen, though I didn’t try the food, and they provided a bathroom kit.

The location was convenient and the stay was worth the price. My room was spacious, neat, and well maintained, with a comfortable bed. Housekeeping did a good job, and the courteous, responsive staff made everything smooth. I’d recommend this hotel.

The rooms are good, but there are problems with the location. It’s near Thanjavur junction and about a 2 km walk from Thanjavur old bus stand. Outside the hotel, sewage leaks from potholes and creates a really bad smell. I also saw a cockroach on the water flake. Check the water before you drink it.
