OYO 7926 Hotel Fort View

There didn't seem to be housekeeping or room service staff, and the room had no water, soap, or towels. The bathroom was dirty, especially the tub and door, and the mug was broken. The place looked nothing like the pictures. Both the hotel and rooms were worn and poorly maintained, and the elevator was in bad condition. I had booked a room for 3 adults, but got a double bed and an extra single bed that was dusty and had no sheet, pillow, or blanket. There weren't any blankets for the double bed either. Of the room's charging points, only the one beside the bed had anywhere to set a phone while it charged.

The only real plus was the location, very close to Padmanabha temple. The room and washroom were both dirty and had multiple cockroaches. When I told the staff, they sprayed room freshener and left. There were ants on the blankets too, and the reception staff weren't very polite.

The location is good, but this is a below average hotel, full of ants and other insects. There's no guarantee the AC will work. Even if you only want to stay an extra 3-4 hours, they won't reduce the charge and will take the full 2000Rs.

I booked because it was close to the temple, but the room spoiled our whole trip. It wasn't clean or well maintained, and smelled old and damp. When we asked for bedsheets, nobody responded. The AC didn't work, but they still charged us the AC room price. The receptionist was absolutely rude and disrespectful, and the other staff were much the same.
