Trichur Towers

I spent one night at Trichur Towers during a recent visit to Thrissur. The booking was for a double AC room with complimentary breakfast. Check-in starts at 1 PM and checkout is at noon. The room was reasonably spacious, with a double bed, sofa, dressing table, chair, and a working AC. There was a minibar, but it was empty at check-in and had only the menu card. The bathroom looked decent and had basic toiletries: one dental kit, two soaps, shower gel, and moisturizer. There was only one bath towel in the room. Hot water worked in the shower. The room was average, not very impressive for the price or for a hotel marketed as three-star. Breakfast starts at 8 AM, but the selection was limited: Uzhunnu Vada, Idly, bread, poori with Channa Masala, and omelette on request. Dosa items cost extra and weren’t part of the complimentary meal. The Uzhunnu Vada was very cold and didn’t seem fresh. The Pista Milkshake tasted creamy and good, but both jars were almost empty when I arrived around 8:20 AM, so it didn’t seem freshly prepared for breakfast. Watermelon Juice was also available. There were cut fruits, tea, and coffee, and the coffee was good, with that creamy hotel-style flavour. The stay was decent for a short visit, though I expected more for the price.

I had a fantastic stay at TT Hotel, Thrissur. Reshma at the front desk deserves a shoutout. She was awesome, really helpful, and made check-in smooth with her lovely personality. Highly recommended!

The reception team were consistently welcoming, polite, and cooperative, which made check-in and the rest of the stay smooth. Everyone on staff was helpful, and the hotel was comfortable and well maintained. I had a wonderful visit to Thrissur Tower Hospitality and really appreciated the support and hospitality throughout. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Thrissur, it’s one of the best places to stay.

The room and amenities made an already unpleasant one-night stay at this Thrissur hotel even worse. The interiors looked old, the walls and paintwork were in poor shape, and the door lock didn’t feel reliable. The fridge was unplugged and extremely old, so I didn’t feel safe using it. The television had such poor sound that it was practically unusable. For two guests, they provided just one towel and one bottle of water. We chose outside food rather than rely on the in-house restaurant, based on earlier reviews. The problems started at check-in. We arrived at about 12:30 PM and politely let the receptionist know. She looked stern and only said, “check-in is at 1:00 PM.” I understand the policy, but her tone was unnecessarily rude and made us feel as if we’d done something wrong by coming early. We had to wait in front of her until exactly 1:00 PM, then she asked for my ID mechanically. There was little courtesy or effort from staff to make us comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
