We came for a couples’ gathering with 10 couples, and it was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. The food was very poor: the Dal Makhani smelled foul, the rotis were thick, cold, and seemed stale, and the paneer dish was watery and lacked proper taste. Mango Afsana was listed on our buffet menu, but only around 10 people got served. When the rest of the group asked, the manager casually said, “Sir, khatam ho gaya.” That’s completely unacceptable for a pre-decided buffet booked for a group. Service all evening was disappointing and unprofessional. A few women in our group experienced vomiting after dinner, which raises serious concerns about food quality and hygiene. Poor food, management, and service. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place for group gatherings or family events.

Even though we were there for just one night, the team made us feel really special. Swapnil and the entire TEAM VIHASTA were so polite, and our room was very clean and well maintained. A wonderful stay at Vihasta, I recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Udaipur. Thank you!

Pratap Mahal by Vihasta felt peaceful, away from the city rush, with a lovely heritage atmosphere. The food was good, and the staff and manager Anurag were courteous, attentive, and always ready to help. Rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, with beautiful aesthetics. A comfortable, memorable stay for anyone after somewhere quiet and culturally rich in Udaipur.

A good spot for a family vacation or a stay with friends. The rooms were neat and clean with all the basic amenities, and the swimming pool was clean and well maintained. Staff were very polite and the service was good.
