Vijaygarh Resort

The setting was peaceful and lovely, with beautiful surroundings, a landscaped property, and plenty of activities. We enjoyed the delicious food, and the staff were warm and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the pool area was stunning. Service was great and made sure guests were happy. One of the best resort stays I’ve had, and well worth it. I’d love to come back, especially for a weekend or family trip.

They call it a resort, but there’s nothing there beyond rooms and huts to stay in. Since it’s outside the city, guests are stuck buying things there. A water bottle that costs 20 rupees is sold for 44 rupees, and they charged us 2,000 rupees for two bed sheets while staff argued with us about them. The worst place to stay.

The hotel charged twice the usual market price for a basic bottle of water, which seemed unfair and left a bad impression. Drinking water is essential, and charging extra for it reflects poorly on their hospitality and ethics. Pricing should be transparent. I’d tell future guests to watch out for additional charges.

Staying here for one night was unfortunate. The hygiene was very poor, the bathrooms left a lot to be desired, and both the service and value for money were poor. Staff were arrogant. It’s definitely unsuitable for elderly or disabled guests, since they can’t access the restaurant.
