The location is excellent, close to the main temple and handy for nearby places. At Hotel Shrimmaya, the rooms were well-maintained, neat, and clean, so it felt comfortable and relaxing. The staff were polite, very cooperative, and ready to help. It made for a peaceful, hassle-free stay.

I was happy with the stay apart from two things. Some lights by the glass area weren’t working, and they forgot to clean the room after I asked on the second morning. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

The rooms and location are excellent and easy to access. There’s no kitchen, but they still arranged an excellent dinner. I’m taking off one star for the missing kitchen and morning breakfast. Hope to see that improve on future visits to Ujjain. Jai Mahakal...

I booked through cleartrip. The hotel is good overall, but it’s quite far from ujjain mahakaleshwar, around 4 km away, as well as from all the other temples. If you’re coming especially for darshan, keep that distance in mind.

The busy market road made for noisy nights, with traffic constantly passing and dogs barking. Parking was only roadside. For an AC Dlexue Rool, we paid about Rs. 2200, but it felt like a sub-par Dharamshala-level stay and poor value. The hotel is very dated, the kind of place that takes you back to the year 2000. We booked based on the photos and the 4.1 GOOGLE rating, which was misleading, and our mistake. It seems Ujjain has too few quality stays, so prices for poor options are inflated. I’m writing this to counterbalance that rating and set realistic expectations for couples and families traveling here.
