The family run guest house had a peaceful, welcoming feel, and the clean room and great service made the stay comfortable. As a woman traveling alone, safety is always my main concern, and I felt completely safe here. Aunty was especially caring and kind, always checking if I needed anything. Her warmth made it feel like a home away from home. I highly recommend it to solo female travelers looking for a safe, homely stay in Banaras.

Mrs Chhaya was a friendly owner, very cooperative, and happy to share information about places. The area is quiet, and Assi ghat is within walking distance. It has a family feel, with homemade food and breakfast available, plus an attached bath with shower and running water around the clock. Affordable too. Excellent place in Varanasi, highly recommend.

Staff were polite and happy to help with local tips and travel guidance. The place has a homely feel and offers good value for money. Our clean, comfortable room was well maintained, and the shower had excellent hot water. It’s close to the Assi ghats and temples, making it a calm, convenient base for exploring Varanasi’s spiritual heart. I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it to pilgrims and travelers.

Our group of seven, men and women, booked rooms here for a Varanasi stay and had a very good experience at kedar home stay. The owner was supportive and ready to listen and guide us, and the place felt like a homestay. It was affordable, near Assi ghat, and felt safe in every way. They can also refer you to rooms in Ayodhya city that are even more affordable and near by to Ram mandir.
