The owner was friendly and helpful, which made the stay feel welcoming. The rooms are decent for a short visit, though basic hygiene could be better. Sankatha Guest House is in an excellent, convenient location, right opposite one of the gates of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Manikarnika Ghat is only a one-minute walk away, a big plus for pilgrims and visitors.

The guest house is in a beautiful location, just 50 m from Ganga Ghat and close to Baba Vishwanath Temple. The staff behaviour was good.

The guest house is very quiet and opposite Manikarnika Ghat Temple. The entrance to the temple is two minutes away at gate no 4, but we have to walk a long way over steps and an escalator to reach the main temple. There are 6 entry gates. Every 3,5, mnts, bodies arrive for cremation at manikarnika ghat from across india. Varnasi Uttar Pradesh has unlimited temples to see and 26 Ghats over the beach. Ghat no 4 and 9 are the main ones. Everyone should see Varanasi once in their life. All types of tiffins and south and north Indian foods are available, though they cost a little more. A flight from Hyderabad to varanasi takes one hour 20 minutes, while the train takes 2 days.
