The gopal residency

Being right by Dashashwamedh Ghat and close to Kashi Vishwanath Dham is the main advantage, and the hotel’s location is good. The room is the problem. We booked a four-bed room, but there was very little space. I wouldn’t recommend it for a family trip.

We were three, but the bed only fit two, and the room was so tiny there was hardly space for one person to stand, let alone two together. The manager was rude and gave us only one blanket for all three of us. We also got no toiletries or room service. It was a terrible stay, and I’d tell people not to book here because they may end up disappointed and regret it.

The rooms are small but clean, and the price is cheap for a spot near the Ghat. Mr. Upadhyay, the hotel attendant, was really nice and helpful. Since vehicles can’t get as far as the hotel gate, there’s about an eight-minute walk, and Mr. Upadhyay helped us carry our luggage. Don’t expect luxury service.

Gopal residency is close to the ghats and local markets, so it’s handy for visiting the peaceful ghats and shopping for local products. My stay was comfortable, and the owner and staff were helpful, especially when I arrived late at night and needed parking. They pointed me to nearby options.
