We came to Varkala for a girls trip and picked this hostel. The best part was meeting so many travelers from elsewhere. Our dorm was even better than expected, with a locker, separate curtains, and a reading lamp for each bed, plus a spacious bathroom. The staff were good, and there's plenty of parking, a small cafe, and some nice little places to hang out. It's very close to Black beach, which seemed less crowded than the main beach.

We had a private room facing the sea and a great stay. The hosts were cooperative, very helpful, and quick to respond to any requests. It's only a few meters from north cliff, but far enough away for a quieter stay, while still being an easy walk to the main spots. I'd recommend it.

The location made it easy to explore everything I wanted, while still being peaceful enough to relax. I liked the cozy common areas, whether for meeting other travelers or just having coffee. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well cared for, and the place felt safe and comfortable. A party during my stay was a highlight, with great music, lots of laughs, and a chance to connect with staff and other travelers. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready with a recommendation or a smile.

We paid a hefty amount for the long weekend, 2000 for each bunk bed per night, and still couldn't get any rest after checking in. There was no electricity, and heavy machinery noise from construction kept disturbing us. With that much noise and disruption, they should have closed the property.

The host was warm and really friendly, and the place was absolutely gorgeous and very clean. You can walk straight to the nearby beach. I loved my stay.
