For a 1500 hotel, the room and bathroom were surprisingly spacious. The room was simple and mostly clean, with a large bed, a good cupboard, and a nightstand, and the bathroom was clean too. That spring mattress gave me a backache, though. Service was okay, nothing stood out, but nothing was bad either. It’s 1 km from main cmc, and there aren’t many food options nearby, though Swiggy or Zomato are available. Decent for couples. Families may want to look closer to cmc for better options.

The hotel sorted out the room issue after my late arrival around 10 PM, and I’m grateful to the management at Vijai Shree in for providing the AC room I’d booked. Goibibo had sent the hotel details showing a Non-AC room because of an error on its side. I tried calling its customer care several times, but got no useful response or timely help, which added stress late at night. The hotel cooperated with a problem it hadn’t caused. Goibibo should improve booking accuracy and customer support so guests and hotels aren’t put in this position.

I’ve stayed here twice. The rooms are very compact, but fine for a short visit, and the price is reasonable for a hotel near the ever busy CMC Hospital.
