Hotel Park N

I had a good stay at Hotel Park N in Vijayawada. The staff were polite and helpful, and the service was good. The rooms are a little small, but clean and comfortable. Pavani at reception made things more pleasant. She's friendly and welcoming, and greets guests with a lovely smile. Everything was fine overall.

At 1:30 AM, in heavy rain, my wife, our 5-month-old baby, my elderly parents, and I were left outside after driving from Hyderabad. Last week my dad had stayed at the hotel, and before this booking he called to ask about bringing our pet. We knew it wasn't pet-friendly, so he explained everything politely to Haseeba, including the pet details. She said she'd check with her manager, then confirmed the rooms. No one told us pets would be a problem. At reception, Mr. Yesubabu refused us entry. He was arrogant and rude, speaking as though we were begging for a favor. My dad calmly explained and called Haseeba on speaker. She changed her story, saying she'd confirmed the booking but not the pet. Why confirm the rooms after getting all the pet details if that was the case? It seemed she'd made a mistake and was covering herself. Yesubabu showed no empathy, rolled his eyes, gave us attitude, and said, “Do whatever you want.” We called their manager, Mr. Venkat, hoping he'd help. Instead, he said he couldn't do anything and would “look into it tomorrow.” We were outside in the rain with a baby and two elderly parents in the middle of the night. What kind of manager says that and goes to sleep while a family is stranded because of his staff's mistake? The whole thing was heartless, irresponsible, and disgusting. Haseeba confirmed a booking she shouldn't have, Yesubabu had no basic manners and acted like he owned the place, and Venkat failed as a manager and didn't care about our situation. There was no empathy, accountability, or professionalism, just arrogance and blame shifting. We were left on the road in the middle of the night. Never again. If you value your peace, family, and dignity, stay far away from this hotel.

We arrived around midnight in heavy rain with our 5-month-old baby, the baby's parents, and grandparents. The staff met us with arrogance, no empathy, and complete unprofessionalism. When confirming the booking, we clearly told the woman on duty that we'd bring our pet. She asked whether it was a small or large breed and if it would sleep on the bed. We explained that it wouldn't, since we always bring its own bed when travelling. After getting all the details, she confirmed the booking, then later denied what she'd said. At reception, Mr. Yesubabu was extremely rude and unprofessional, showing no regard for guests or pets. He said we could take the room only if we left our pet in the car all night. Shocked by this inhumane suggestion, we asked to speak with someone senior. He called the General Manager, Mr. Venkat, and explained what was happening. Mr. Venkat showed no responsibility or basic decency. He said pets weren't allowed and that he'd “enquire with his team regarding the miscommunication” the next day, while we stood in the rain with a baby. This team is irresponsible and insensitive, and management should reconsider whom they hire. Hospitality starts with respect, and there was none here. I strongly feel this hotel isn't worth staying at. My rating is actually a big ZERO.

I had to wait an hour for lunch without getting a proper response from staff. They seem to care only about paid services and ignore complimentary ones. Basic things like bathing towels weren't provided either. Even after asking, I waited another hour. This was the most disappointing service experience I've had.
