Beach View Guest House

The beach view is awesome, and the location is really good and clean.

The location is the one good thing here, but I wouldn’t recommend staying. I had to wash my hands with black water coming from the bathroom sink, and there was no Wi-Fi or distilled water. The 20-litre jar outside had ordinary pump water, so you had to bring your own bottle. The sheets were filthy, there were bugs in the bed, and the door locks were damaged and didn’t work properly. The CCTV was damaged or not working either. We didn’t get the room we expected. There are two sea-facing rooms: one had a fan that wasn’t working properly, and the other had already been booked. The whole building smelled like a latrine. Staff were rude; one was drunk one night and walking around on our floor. They understood Hindi but acted like they didn’t know the language when it came to speaking it. The windows were completely open, with no iron bars or other structures. You could sit on broken wooden chairs on the rooftop and look at the sea. This place doesn’t deserve even one star. Please don’t book a room here. I’m giving one star for the location.

I stayed for one day last week, and left for another guest house within 24 hours. The beds were full of bugs, the rooms were dirty, and the photos shown during booking looked much more luxurious than the actual place. They seemed intended just to impress. The staff weren’t helpful, and there’s no lift. I wouldn’t choose Hotel beach view again or recommend it to anyone. It didn’t feel like a hotel or a guest house, just a mischief building. Nothing was okay, and I don’t see any prospect of improvement. Be careful, visitors.
