Cygnett Inn Ramachandra, Vizag

The buffet is a favorite of mine, with plenty of dishes and distinctive flavors. Roopesh Garu is especially welcoming, and often suggests food combinations like a close friend. I’ve been visiting this hotel for a year, and each time has been better. Staff across the reception and other sections are cheerful and pleasant, and they make me feel more like a friend or family member than a guest. The atmosphere, service, and people make this one of my favorite places to visit. Highly recommended!

The service was excellent and the place had AC, though the ambience was just okay. I had seafood for lunch, and while it was okay, it was very spicy, even for someone like me who usually eats very spicy food. It had that red chili kind of heat. Seafood also felt a bit pricey for a coastal area.

I was very unhappy with how the snack charges were handled. At check-in, nobody told me the snacks on the table cost extra, so I assumed they were complimentary, as they are in many hotels. Once I found out, I returned them unopened right away, but staff said the bill had already been “processed” and I still had to pay, even though I hadn’t eaten anything. It felt like guests could be charged without clear communication. The transparency and customer service were very poor. Very disappointing, avoid this hotel at all cost.

On my first order, I got fish biryani. The portion was good for two, with plenty of fish pieces, and the taste was really good, though it was a bit spicy. The raita was really good too. Delivery was a little late, perhaps because they had many orders. The price felt a bit high for the quantity and quality. I later visited after ordering online, but the mutton biryani we ordered there wasn’t cooked well, and the prices seemed high compared with the quality.
