The staff insisted on being paid immediately, but when I needed change right away, they couldn’t provide it. When I asked for towels or clean sheets, they first said “tomorrow” and that none were available. After I argued, they somehow found them. I didn’t get fresh towels, the sheets looked unclean, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. They don’t speak English, and the management treated me like a criminal. I arrived late at night for a two-night stay and asked to pay for the first night, then settle the second in the morning. They flat-out refused. They couldn’t understand why someone might not want to go to an ATM at 11:30 p.m. in a city they didn’t know, and did nothing to make the stay easier. In the end, I had to make a separate one-night booking at a time on booking.clm to get them to agree. It created more work for everyone, but that was the only way.

The rooms are really nice, though the receptionist can be a little nonchalant. There’s no meal service, though.

I stayed five nights. The rooms are large and clean, and the staff were helpful, especially Santosh. The drawback is that there are no room cards, so someone from reception always has to open the door. That’s a hassle for the staff too. They should either give guests cards or keep someone available to open doors.

This is my usual place to stay. It’s good value, with great rooms and humble staff, and there’s a complex and station nearby.
