The staff looked after us well, and the place has a nice human touch. We spent two nights at Anugama Resort, near Wandoor Beach, which is an easy walk away and set in lovely natural surroundings. It suited our basic needs, though you shouldn't expect five-star facilities. We took the ATR route from here, arranged by the resort. Meals need to be ordered ahead because the kitchen is small, but the local food was good. Their country chicken was among the best I've tried in years. We also enjoyed the beach sunset and atmosphere, and the food at Jolly bay near Marine museum. If you want a quiet, somewhat wild place in nature, I'd recommend it, as long as you don't expect too much.

The food was cooked right in front of us and tailored to what we wanted, which was very good. Mahatma Gandhi marine sanctuary is within walking distance, and that's the main upside. The staff were quite lazy, though, and we had to keep nudging them to get anything done. The place also felt gloomy, and I didn't feel cheerful while staying there.

A peaceful spot if you want to watch the stars or take a cool walk at night. The resort is outside the city limits of Port Blair, close to Wandoor Jetty, where ferries leave for Jolly Buoy and Redskin Islands. The staff were courteous and helpful.

It was calm and peaceful here, with easy bus access to Wandoor beach and Marine national park. The facilities are quite old, and the room quality didn't feel worth the high price. Food was just okay.

It's a quiet place away from the crowds, and being near Wandoor beach can make it an affordable spot for watching the sunset. But it's a long way from the main city. There are few or no guests in the off season, and I wouldn't recommend staying here on a short trip.
