Suraj Residency by OYO Rooms

Staff behaviour was good, but I had one of my worst recent stays at Oyo. The room was tiny, the stairs up to the cramped reception were narrow, and there was no mat outside the washroom. The bedspreads were really dirty and only got changed after I asked. There was noise and movement all night, so I couldn't sleep. Then early in the morning, people in the neighbourhood were fighting and shouting. It's an average facility.

The room was so cramped, and the blankets were filthy. It looked like they hadn't been washed or changed for months. On top of that, they demanded twice the rental price shown in the OYO app. This was the worst accommodation I've ever experienced. I'd tell other customers not to use the OYO app to book here.

I had one of my worst experiences here. The place is above a local bar, so you can imagine the kind of customers around. The receptionist seemed drunk and used abusive language. The rooms smelled of cigarettes, alcohol and food, and there were food oil marks on the bed sheets.

There was no intercom, so every issue meant walking to reception. Often nobody was there, and I'd have to wait or come back again. The mosquito repellent was only provided when I asked, and the machine didn't work. The TV remote and AC weren't working either, so I kept going back to get these problems dealt with. They also didn't provide complimentary breakfast. The room was in very bad shape: flooring was dug up and left open in two places, and the bedsheets had visible footprints. The pillows had black oil marks, as did the OYO band across the bed. The towel and wash basin were very dirty too. Overall, a very bad hotel experience.
