The heater and toilet flush both failed, and the restroom was dirty. Staff kept telling us the heater would be fixed in half an hour, but it never worked. The beds smelled awful and didn’t seem properly cleaned, which made the stay uncomfortable. There was no Wi-Fi, even though this is a hill station, and the price felt far too high for the condition and facilities. I wouldn’t recommend it unless they make real improvements to cleanliness and basic amenities.

We paid ₹15,000 for two rooms over three days, and the stay was stressful and disappointing. There wasn’t proper water service or emergency support, and the food was unhygienic and very poor. They used rotten paneer, and we ended up with food poisoning for two days.

The food was the highlight for us: it was tasty, freshly cooked for us at the restaurant, and served on time. My kids loved it. We stayed at silver inn from 15 to 18th Jan 2026, and our room was good. Mr. Kumar, the manger, was nice and helpful with our questions. If you visit yercaud, try sri silver inn. It’s a neat, well-kept place with good service, and it’s close to the lake. Don’t expect a 5 star hotel, but it’s still a really good hotel.

Our room had a balcony, a corridor, and a French window, so we could enjoy the natural scenery even from inside. The property also has roomy car parking. We were able to walk to some sightseeing spots, and the location made getting to the others easy. Staff arranged trustworthy autos and cabs, and gave us tips on shopping for Yercaud’s famous things and on the tourist spots. We spent 3 days and 2 nights at sri silver inn at the end of sep 2025. The spacious room was clean and had a king size bed that was more than enough for our family of 4, plus 24 hours heater facility. Our train reached salem at 4.30am, and the manager and receptionist kindly arranged an early check in right away for a small charge. Mr Kumar guided us whenever we needed help, and the receptionist and other boys provided timely service without excuses. We had a comfortable, peaceful, joyful, homely stay. Kudos to the silver inn team, keep it up.
