The Instagram clips give the wrong impression about dining. They show a buffet, but there wasn’t one during my stay, just an à la carte (intelabi) menu. My room at Hotel Jawad smelled awful, including the washroom, and the double bed was much too small for two people to sleep comfortably. I’d spent three nights at Hotel Mashhad beforehand, and it was better across the board: cleaner rooms, better food, lower prices, and excellent service. Hotel Jawad wasn’t worth the money, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

From our room on the top floor, we could see the mirror of your Imam Ali Ridha. The restaurant had a nice range of breakfast choices, and it’s easy to walk to the shrine and nearby shops. They welcomed us with a complimentary drink, then gave us a card for an iced coffee at the basement café.

This restaurant used to be one of the best places in town for khoresht, but today was my worst experience there. The waiters were rude and unprofessional, and the food had no taste. We were served beef instead of lamb, and one waiter tried to argue that it wasn’t beef. The portion was small and the drinks were warm. I regret eating here.

Being near the Imam Reza Holy Shrine mattered a lot to me for Ziarat, and the hotel’s location was great. The rooms were quite clean, though a little old. The food was awesome, with a great menu for every meal, and the staff were so friendly. I’m very grateful for their service. We had a business and vacation trip here, and generally everything was awesome. I’d recommend this hotel.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the service was really great. Rooms were clean, and the free breakfast was satisfactory. It’s very close to the Imam Reza Shrine, so it was a good stay for visiting Mashhad.
