Zandiyeh

The restaurants served great food, and breakfast had a fabulous range of choices. We spent an amazing week at Hotel Zandiyeh, where the staff were exceptionally polite and respectful. Room service was great and everything went smoothly. Its location also makes it easy to walk to Zandiyeh Complex. I’d highly recommend it for a visit to Shiraz.

The staff are professional and well trained, and breakfast includes both Iranian and international options. The hotel’s architecture brings traditional Iranian design together with modern touches. It’s also well placed for reaching the historic center of Shiraz. Highly recommended.

We had the Honeymoon Suite on the top floor and loved all the space and the view. The room had everything we needed, and both the bed and bathroom were very comfortable. The reception team were exemplary, helping us settle in and get used to Persian ways after we arrived in Shiraz feeling completely green. They gave us a warm welcome and a drink to quench our thirst, with Iranian chocolates at reception as another nice touch. We also used the laundry, health club, pool, and travel services, all of which were excellent. For its class, Zandiyeh Hotel is at the top of its game. It was easily among our best stays in Iran, on a par with a boutique hotel and a guesthouse we also considered top spots. Zandiyeh was listed as five-star, and other five-star hotels could learn from the service it provides, including the extra care Western guests expect. Highly recommended.

The Kebabs were especially good, and the food overall was great. Staff were friendly and helpful, and most historical sights are close enough to reach on foot. Arg of Karim Khan, the Boulevard, and several other sites are just a few meters away. Recommended.
