The rooms are cramped, the bathrooms too, and the hotel feels very old with little that feels luxurious. There's barely a lobby, just a corridor with reception on the left. No elevators either, so you have to use the stairs if your room is on the second floor. Staff are fine, but quite dry with guests, so don't expect smiles or a warm welcome. The location is convenient for central Tehran, but it's on a busy street and there's always outside noise. Breakfast is average, and although it starts at 7:00, the hot food isn't ready until 7:30. The amenities are relatively fine, and rooms use key cards, but the cards need recharging every day. You only find that out after climbing up, discovering the card doesn't work, and going back down to ask. That felt unprofessional. Just an average stay, so choose carefully.

The suites at Bahar Hotel are especially good. I've stayed here in different seasons many times, and it's always been clean and tidy. The staff's behavior is good and acceptable, the location works well for getting around the city, and there's a large parking area.

Taxis are right outside the door, and the hotel staff are friendly. There's also plenty nearby, including food places, shops, especially men's shoes, and convenience stores for groceries and drinks.

Bhar hotel is in the main city, which is a real plus. The room prices are high compared with other hotels in this area, though.
