Espinas Palace Hotel

We came from Dubai with my wife to look at the hotel for a group stay, and decided to order coffee while we were there. After waiting 45 minutes with no coffee, we left and cancelled our group plans. We complained to management, but nothing was done. Service is a BIG ZERO.

The location is the standout, in a very beautiful area. The rest of my stay didn't feel like five-star service. At check-in nobody was available to help with luggage. Someone showed me to the lift, but no one came with me to the room. The room was clean, though that's a basic standard, and its layout felt poorly organized: the tables were scattered, the chair was awkwardly placed, the tissue box was elsewhere, and the mirror was in an odd spot. The lighting was dim too. Breakfast was average, more like what I'd expect at a three- or four-star hotel, with nothing special enough to meet five-star standards. Using the pool, kids' play area, or gym also means paying extra for almost everything. Shirts, shorts, trousers, water, and energy or cold drinks are all charged separately. Extras are common, but this didn't feel right for a five-star hotel. The location is great, but the service, room setup, facilities, and breakfast need significant improvement to justify that rating.

Missiles are flying everywhere, my general is dead, and the service sucks. Would NOT recommend. America, save me.

For over a week I had to switch rooms multiple times. The employees, including those in the breakfast restaurants, seemed miserable, unhappy, and demotivated. Management was absent the whole time, and neither the office manager nor the director of operations contacted me. They may call this a five-star hotel, but it operates like a one-star place. An embarrassment to the hotel industry worldwide.
