The room rates feel high for the condition, though the location is handy if that matters most. It’s in northern Tehran near Valiasr Street, around a 40-minute walk from Tajrish Square, and the mountain views are great. The lobby has an elegant, classic look, and breakfast and the restaurants are quite good. Staff were friendly and professional. Wi-Fi worked fine across the hotel and was free, as were the gym and pool for guests. The rooms, especially in the west wing, are dated. The carpets, bathrooms, and furniture all need attention. It’s worth comparing the options before choosing.

There’s plenty of greenery and the common areas are large, which gives the place a classic Tehran hotel feel. The rooms are spacious but dated, and service is inconsistent. The indoor pool and restaurants are nice to have. It feels past its prime, though, so I’d only stay briefly if I found a good deal.

The staff and atmosphere didn’t feel hospitable, and I couldn’t use a VPN on the hotel Wi-Fi. There wasn’t a coffee machine or even coffee powder in the room, and the hair dryer wasn’t suitable for women. If this is meant to be a five-star hotel, the service should match.
