We left that night, but the hotel kept insisting it could keep all the money we'd paid, even though we'd been told we could inspect the rooms and get a refund if they didn't suit us. They even said we owed them more. The head of management told us, “hey you worthless person, come here and I throw your money in the floor”. We've now filed a complaint. We arrived at midnight after a 12-hour drive and didn't like the rooms. The cellar rooms had no airflow and were very damp; other rooms weren't well kept, and the bathrooms smelled strongly of sewage. I understand it's a historic building, but it didn't meet our needs. The management was absolutely atrocious, and the staff were extremely rude. Avoid this place, especially if you might need to cancel.

We got a 35% discount in early March because it was low season. The hotel is beautiful, well located, with comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was very good, among the best we had in Iran, and it's probably one of the best hotel options in Yazd. The air conditioning didn't work, though, so our room got too hot. Nearly all the power sockets were right above the bed, which made charging devices awkward.

I was in Yazd with my mother in May, and the hotel's traditional style and beauty really stood out. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included, with options for different tastes. The best thing was the location, close to the markets and various sights. I'd love to return 🙂

Our room was small, with its own shower. The air conditioning worked, but it was noisy because it was an old model. Breakfast wasn't great, with few choices, and the internet signal in our room was so weak that we could only get online after walking toward reception. We asked the staff about it, but it seemed they couldn't fix it. We booked and arrived later in the evening. The receptionist was very welcoming and helped us find the room we wanted.
