The owner had clean sheets and towels ready on very short notice, and we slept really well. Thanks for taking us in during a heavy storm. The hospitality was awesome, and there’s a cute German shepherd in the apartment too. Highly recommended!

We had a free room upgrade, and the room was clean with comfy beds and nice views. The atmosphere was really calm, and we had keys so we could come and go as we liked. Breakfast at the hotel was nice, the Wi-Fi worked well, and there was a nice kitchen free to use. The housekeeper was very kind and gave us advice for our trip. A welcoming place and totally worth it.

The patio has an amazing view, and it’s a lovely spot to sit as long as it isn’t windy. In good weather, the supermarket and ATM are within walking distance. The old Blonduos church is nearby, and it only takes a few steps to reach the place where the river meets the sea. It’s under new management and has had some renovations, though only a few rooms are open right now. The owner controls the lights and can turn them on or off or adjust their brightness.

The rooms are well appointed, and the host and host dog were friendly. It feels more like staying in a hotel room than a hostel. The shared bathroom is the only drawback. It’s a great choice if you want peace and quiet.

Warning, don’t book. This isn’t an AirBnB or a hostel. Someone is trying to scam you out of your money. The owner put a sign on the door saying it isn’t an AirBnB.
