Kacper deserves a special shout-out for giving us a truly 5-star experience. From our first interaction, he made us feel at home. His Malaysian-style hospitality was warm and genuine, and he was attentive, sincere, thoughtful, and always ready to go the extra mile. His care made a real difference to our stay. We had a few issues in our room at this nice hotel. The sink drained really slowly, the bathroom magnifying mirror/light was broken, and the TV wouldn’t turn off, so we had to unplug it. There was no kettle, microwave or refrigerator in the room either. We did visit Vok Baths and had a great time.

We booked two nights through expedia, but the rooms were dirty when we arrived. There was a mark and hair on my sheets, a strong smell from the toilet, and a general chemical smell in the room. We were unhappy, but didn’t think it was a big enough issue to leave right away, so we stayed the first night and planned to go after breakfast. Breakfast was bad and stale too. We’re not big complainers and were willing to pay for the night we used, but wanted a refund for the night we chose to leave. The hotel wasn’t fully booked, so we hadn’t kept those rooms from being rented. Since then, nothing. They’re rude to us and to the expedia team, say they’ll get back to us, then don’t. Complete scam. I’ll update this if they decide to refund us.

The food was really good, and they had some gluten free otions. All the Berjaya hotels are really nice, and this one was no exception. I also love that these hotels have products from L'occitane, including shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.
