We only stayed one night on our last evening in Iceland, and ended up wishing we’d booked longer. The host was there to greet us and show us around even though we arrived late, around 11 p.m. The house was spotless and fully equipped, and our room was roomy and warm with a very comfortable bed. I’d absolutely recommend it to friends and family.

The family who own the house were lovely hosts. They took time to tell us about the area, and I’d really like to return and stay with them again. The place was tidy, sparkling clean, nicely decorated, well stocked and organized throughout. Easily the best Airbnb hosts I’ve come across.

The airport is not quite as close as the listing suggests, and buses go there only infrequently. Still, the location is good, the house is spacious and clean, and the host is nice. Free cereal, cookies, coffee and tea were a nice bonus.

Getting in and checking out was easy, and the kitchen and bathroom were very clean and well stocked. It’s about an eight-minute drive to the airport. A great place to stay!

A lovely guesthouse with a nice kitchen and bathrooms. The room is compact, but worked well enough for a couple of days if you need an affordable place near the airport.
