White House B&B

Our host was so gracious that she waited for us to arrive late, and she had breakfast ready for our early flight. There was a full continental spread, including an amazing apple tart, with everything you could imagine for a good trip. We had plenty of space and enough showers for everyone. It was the perfect end to our Iceland stopover and the best stay of the trip. I hope to come back!

The host was interested in my travels and asked what time I wanted breakfast. She was so lovely and accommodating, especially with my late check-in, and felt like a little mum away from home. In the morning she put out a huge spread: five kinds of bread, butter, spreads and jams, ham, cheese, salami, relish, tea, coffee, freshly baked cakes, and waffles with cream or Hershy's topping. I told her how good her little Apple Cake was, and since I had a long trip ahead, she packed me a goodie bag with about five slices. It didn’t last long on my nine-day drive! The small room for one had two single beds, and the linen and blankets were comfortable and kept me warm. There were three bathrooms with toilets, all reasonably small but perfectly usable. This place was incredible. Thank you!

The host was lovely and friendly, and the rooms were clean. We had an early flight, so she laid out breakfast for us to serve ourselves, whatever time we checked out.

The owner was warm and welcoming, and the BnB was the best place we stayed during our trip to Iceland. It’s very close to the airport, shops, and restaurants in town. The only downside was that it was our last night on the island.
