Adventure Hotel Geirland

The food was good, and the bathrooms were great for someone with a disability. There are plenty of full accessible rooms with wheelchair access. It’s quite remote along the southern route.

The hotel was clean and okay, and we booked it through a tour that had an agreement with them. Since there weren’t other places to eat nearby, we were disappointed by how much dinner cost. For two people over two nights, we ended up paying more than $350. The lamb and beef cheek were good, though both came with powdered mashed potatoes.

The rooms were okay and breakfast had loads of food, with a good mix of healthy options and variety. What really made the stay was the staff. I left my headphones in the room, and they texted me right away. They even brought them to our hotel in reykjavik, probably because they happened to be there on a business trip, but either way, they were incredibly kind and helpful. I’m so grateful. If they’re ever being considered for a promotion, please consider them! Ten stars just for the service and staff.

We had dinner here, and the waiters were friendly and helpful. The rooms have been newly renovated, and it’s a great place to stay in southern Iceland. It’s also a perfect spot for catching the Northern lights.
