We asked to move our booking to different dates for personal reasons, but the hotel declined without explaining why. A free cancellation was refused as well. We followed up to ask if either a date change or cancellation might still be possible, and after that our messages went unanswered and we got no more help. Other hotels had no issue communicating or being flexible, so this was especially disappointing and frustrating. We can't recommend the hotel and wouldn't book it again.

Sorin at the front desk went above and beyond after we’d already driven several hours away. He contacted us through Booking.com because we’d accidentally left our AirPods in the room. Returning was difficult with our schedule, so he considered a few options and helped arrange for a guide to deliver the carefully packaged AirPods to a hotel in Reykjavik. We picked them up without stress before leaving Iceland, thanks to his thoughtfulness. Our stay at Landbrot was unforgettable: cosy, comfortable rooms in a beautiful spot, with breathtaking nature around us. We were lucky enough to see the spectacular Northern Lights that night. The team’s care and hospitality, along with the location and atmosphere, make Landbrot easy to recommend.

Having a kitchen with both a stove and an oven was worth it. With Iceland’s food prices, meal prepping helped us save some money.

Our cottage was small but cosy, with a big window looking out at a nice view. We even saw the northern lights on the property that night. The location was easy to find, with some good restaurants nearby, and check-in was at the Magma hotel next door. I was disappointed to find that breakfast wasn't included as I thought it was, and we had to buy it at the neighbouring hotel. It was expensive for what we got.
