We stayed two nights as part of our Iceland road trip. The spacious apartment had off-road parking, and the host left us complimentary tickets to the swimming pool, which was fabulous. The pool facilities were very good, and it was nice to get a little glimpse of local life. Everyone was really friendly. The only downside was the bed: it was two single beds pushed together, and a gap kept forming. The one by the window was very uncomfortable and gave me a bad back.

The local thermal pool is amazing, and the kitchen was great. Everything was very clean.
