The service was so good, we’d absolutely stay again. My boyfriend and I spent one night in the separate cottage, away from the shared spaces, and it was SO CUTE. It was just right for a night, very clean, and the shower got really hot.

I had lunch here and really enjoyed it. The fish & chips were delicious, and the Arctic char was especially good. I’d definitely recommend trying the char.

The rooms are clean and compact, and the staff are very helpful. It’s a charming spot to use as a base for visiting the Westfjords. Breakfast isn’t a huge spread, but it has what you need. You can hear through the pretty thin walls, so soundproofing could be better. Still, the quality for the price is very good.

The setting is beautiful, but I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. Noise carries from neighboring rooms and the hallway, vibrations included. Breakfast is very basic: one meat, one cheese, some eggs, cereal, and oranges that tasted like onion, apparently because the knife had been used for both.
