I had a really quiet stay in Feb2026, sleeping well on both the 4th floor one night and the 6th floor the next. The bed was comfortable, the comforter was wonderfully warm, and the shower got plenty hot. I’d read about noise in Reykjavik, but that wasn’t my experience here. The hospitality is what would bring me back: from the moment I arrived, everyone was warm, sincere, and helpful. Special shout out to Martina and Gatis, who coordinated to help me charge my phone after an eventful night with my personal electronics, before I left on a 2 day trip. A mini fridge and microwave in the room or a common area would be useful. I didn’t know there were options in a general use area, and rooms currently don’t have either. The TV had only a few channels and the programming got repetitive. Those are small things beside how well I was treated. I’d come back without hesitation. This is where you want to stay.

You’re right in the middle of the hustle and bustle, surrounded by bars, cafes, and restaurants, and there’s a small supermarket next door for anything extra you need. The location is great for exploring Reykjavik, while the hotel’s own restaurant suits anyone who’d rather stay in. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with large bathrooms. Staff were extremely helpful. I’d recommend it to others.

Right in the city center, and the room was spotless and comfortable. I worried at first that it might be cramped, but there was plenty of room to move around. Loved the interior design and the cozy balcony, it made the stay feel special. Such a lovely hotel!

If your flight gets cancelled, be aware that you WILL still be charged 1k+ reservation fees. Customer service only advised me to file a travel insurance claim, so they would still be paid. I think it’s poor customer service and bad business practice not to work with guests who want to stay but are facing circumstances beyond their control.
