The apartment was warm, and the beds were comfortable. Its location also made it easy to walk to the harbor and Main Street. But for eight women, one small bathroom was a struggle, and the place didn't have a lounge or an oven. The kitchen had limited facilities, and the small table couldn't seat all of us, so it wasn't really big enough for eight. With prices so high in Iceland, we would have liked the option to eat in. One odd thing was that the cleaning cupboard for this and other apartments was inside ours. The cleaner would come in to get things even while we were there, without knocking, then go straight back out.

The apartment was warm and comfortable, especially the beds, and the description was accurate. We stayed in apartment 2 on the second floor. The key instructions were clear, and they supplied milk, coffee, salt, pepper, kitchen roll, and other basics. There was no bath, just a shower, but everything worked well enough. It's good value in a convenient spot, and we'd stay again. Finding it was tricky because Google Maps had the house number in the wrong place, so I submitted a correction. One concern was a damp patch on the living-area ceiling, probably from a leak that needs fixing. In the second bedroom, the windows and the outside wall behind the built-in wardrobe had a lot of condensation in the extreme cold. That seemed to be due to Iceland's weather rather than any fault by the owner, but future guests should know.

We had plenty of room for me, my wife, and our two teenage daughters, and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with most of town within walking distance. There's also a bus stop nearby for tour pickups.
