The shared spaces were welcoming and cozy, with a good kitchen for cooking, a TV, and plenty of places to sit. My tour group of 11 stayed here last summer, and I think we had the whole cottage to ourselves. I was upstairs in a gorgeous wood-paneled room. There were maybe three rooms and two shared bathrooms on that floor, plus, from memory, another bathroom and perhaps one more bedroom downstairs. The bathrooms were clean. I think our group tried to keep showers short, but we still ran out of hot water. The bedrooms were comfortable, though the curtains let in a lot of light, as is common in Iceland, so an eye mask would be useful.
