The rooms at the back look onto impressive mountains rather than the sea. The kitchen is clean and has good equipment, including a dishwasher. The setting is beautiful, with a view out toward the water.

The room, bathrooms, and kitchen were all clean, and the location was convenient, a few hundred meters from the black beach and under 10 km from Vik. Self check-in and checkout both went smoothly.

The bedroom had a lovely view, and the bathrooms were decent. It felt more like a hostel, with a shared kitchen that we didn't use. There isn't a staffed reception, so you collect your key there and then head to your room. The WiFi was weak, so make sure your mobile connection is reliable. Getting into Vik was easy. We stayed one night.

The staff were warm and helpful, and we had a really enjoyable stay. We had a clean, comfortable room with our own toilet and sink. The shared showers are in separate private rooms and have extra towels and soap, and the shared bathrooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen had plenty of room, and the facilities overall were tidy. There's also a small deck at the back facing the ocean. This cute guesthouse sits just outside Vik, less than a mile from the black sand beaches. We'd happily come back.
