Having our own separate apartment was great, and the location was stunning. The stay was completely contactless, so we didn’t need to see anyone. The only problem was the heat: even with it switched off, the apartment got really hot, and the windows barely opened. That was the one thing we wish had been different. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

The view from this quiet, secluded place is stunning. It’s a little way from the city, and the nearest grocery store is about a 15-minute drive away.

The cabin was spacious, warm, and clean, with good facilities including adjustable heating, a clean bathroom, and fast WiFi. The kitchen had a hob, kettle, pans, and even a dishwasher. It’s a short drive from Vik and the black sand beach, and the view was beautiful. Strong winds made some noise at night during my stay, though that was outside the owners’ control, and I still slept well. I’d definitely come back.

Free parking right in front of the guesthouse made things easy, and the heater could be adjusted for the cold. The clean room had a fridge, stove, kettle, dishwasher, and toaster. Vik is just a short drive away for groceries at Kronan and meals at the restaurants. In clear weather, you can see the northern lights from the property. There are two friendly dogs, if you like dogs, and sheep and horses nearby. It was a handy base for exploring local sights and joining tours.
