B&B Aliva

That terrace was a highlight, with loungers, seating, and a lovely view across the rooftops of the historic city. B&B Aliva was clean, nicely furnished, and the rooms had a tasteful design. Parking right outside is a great help if there’s a space, though it costs extra. The owner was friendly and quick to respond to all our requests, and the staff were helpful too. Breakfast was brought out each morning by a lovely lady who spoke only Italian. Her smile and warm manner helped us understand each other in the end. We’d have liked some fresh vegetables, or at least a change in the menu every other day. Also, glasses in the room or on the terrace, perhaps for wine, would be a useful addition. Still, we had a very positive impression, and would choose B&B Aliva again if we return to Alcamo.

The owner, Francesca, is always there if you have a question. We come back to this bed and breakfast whenever we’re in Alcamo, and it’s right in the center. It’s recently renovated, with a handful of modern, elegant rooms that are soundproofed. The bathrooms are spacious and spotless, with a lovely walk-in shower, and fine linens are provided throughout. Reserved parking is available for guests. Highly recommended.

Jessica deserves a special thank you. She was kind and helpful throughout, even while setting up the breakfast room for our wedding day. We used every room at B&B Aliva in July for the wedding, and both my guests and I were impressed by how attentive everyone was. They offered breakfast and a small buffet of all kinds of local delicacies, and the family atmosphere made us feel pampered and right at home despite being many kilometers away.
