Hotel Floridiana

Everything suited us perfectly, and we just loved this place. It's a beautiful family-run hotel in the heart of Amalfi, yet somehow quiet. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of character, and well maintained. Gorgeous decor and great facilities, plus a lovely little terrace with a jacuzzi. The bed was great, the shower excellent, and breakfast was lovely. The staff were wonderful.

Our whole family stayed at Hotel Floridiana during our wedding week, and everyone was overjoyed with the experience. The staff went above and beyond to make the week feel special, and from the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and cared for like family. The rooms were spotless and spacious, with high ceilings and a calm, classic feel. Each morning brought a delicious home-cooked breakfast, clearly made with love. It quickly became one of our favorite parts of the day. The location was ideal: a short walk to the beach and close to shops, restaurants, and a grocery store, right in the heart of Amalfi while still feeling peaceful and tucked away. Hotel Floridiana will always mean a lot to us. We can't recommend it highly enough for a warm, welcoming stay in Amalfi, and we can't wait to return.

We spent three nights here and really liked the location and hospitality. The hotel and our room were super clean, the staff helpful, and both the breakfast room and food were lovely. The bed wasn't comfortable for my taste, though. I'd recommend it for a short stay.

Hotel Floridiana is a great place to stay, with lovely rooms, an amazing breakfast, friendly staff, and a relaxing rooftop terrace. Its spot right beside the main street and tourist area is excellent, and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was nice once we figured out the controls: the top knob selects the water outlet, such as overhead, wall, or regular shower, and the second one adjusts temperature and pressure. It's a little fiddly, and there weren't any instructions. The main reason I didn't give it five stars is noise. A room facing the main road can be disturbed by street sounds. Closing the door, windows, and shutters helps, but we only figured that out on the second night, so we slept badly the first night. I'd avoid Room 1 or other rooms directly facing the road unless some noise doesn't bother you.
