The staff were so helpful and welcoming. Dinner was very tasty, with a fixed menu for 25 euros and several pasta and meat choices. The portions and setup can vary a bit, though. We aren’t used to eating as much as Italians do at dinner, so it was a lot for us. There’s a big garden with Mediterranean trees, outdoor seating, and a pool, all about 10min from Assisi. If you’re visiting with family, the pool is especially nice in the morning when it’s empty. During our stay, it filled up from 3 pm with various company workers using the hotel as a base for work. Our room was clean and functional, though a little crowded with beds. The bathroom was older, but everything worked, and both the air conditioning and Wi-Fi were good. Breakfast was adequate and had more than one kind of fruit, but it was the same both days and there were no vegetables. The walls are thin, which we noticed with noisy neighbors.

At Hotel La Torretta, everyone was so welcoming that we felt right at home. We had a wonderful stay, with delicious food made with care and real Italian flavor. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, just right for unwinding. We’d love to come back!
