Matthew and Sakiko were always around with advice on places to visit and restaurants. We spent three nights with them in July and had a wonderful time. The apartments were clean and well equipped, and the pool was great for cooling off. We also loved the big but friendly dogs. The location is fantastic, with beautiful views over Florence from the dirt road into the farm. Breakfast in the garden was a treat, both for the food and the setting. With a car, getting into Florence is easy: you can drive to the edge of the city and take a bus, or go to Sieci and catch the train. We’d love to come back and would definitely recommend it.

Sheep and cows graze in the olive grove, and Haku, the retired livestock guardian dog, was happy to get pats from the children. The owner and his wife did so much to make sure we had a great stay, from a lovely breakfast with their own organic milk and yogurt to a clean pool and helpful tips for outings. The place is beautifully landscaped and makes a charming base for exploring Tuscany.
