Our daughter enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool with its lake view so much that she told me to write a nice review. The beds were super comfortable, and the staff were welcoming, professional, cheerful, and helpful. It’s a perfect hotel for a family vacation. Breakfast came in a lovely airy room, with plenty of choice. I had plain yogurt and fresh fruit; my family went for scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes. There were also croissants and cakes that looked lovely, though we didn’t try them. The espresso was excellent. We also had a very pleasant exfoliating Ahura massage at the spa. We ate lunch and dinner out each day to try the area’s excellent restaurants, so I can’t comment on the hotel restaurant. We’ll give it a try next time. It’s a 10-minute drive from San Piero in Bagno, but the beautiful lake is walkable, as are the nearby bar, tobacconist, and restaurant, where you can watch a classic Romagna card game. We came home happy, rested, and very clean after all that pool time.
